Chilika is the largest inland lake of India, with an area of 1100 square kilometers. Rambha is one of the lake's entrance points in the Ganjam district of Odisha. From here, you may easily get to Breakfast point and Ghantashila Hills.
Chilika is known by a variety of names, including Honeymoon Island, Breakfast Island, and others. It is home to a diverse range of aquatic animals and serves as a refuge and winter destination for migrating birds from as far away as Siberia.
From Rambha, you can book private or government motorboats to roam inside the lake. This darsan includes basically three points, the Breakfast point made by the Britishers, the Ghantashila hills, and the Dinosaur hills.
On the Ghantasila hills, you can visit some caves and temples. And since there is a statue of a dinosaur established by the tourism departs, another hill is known as the Dinosaur Hill.
The fishermen use to go inside Chilika from Rambha for fishing. They usually go near Kalaijai for fishing and return back by noon.
